Amy was home bred in 2000 and from very early on we knew she was something special. She had a very quiet start to her show career with hardly any outings as a puppy; this was due to all dog shows being cancelled because of a national outbreak of 'foot and mouth' disease in the agricultural community. On her 2 outings as a puppy she won Best Puppy on both occasions, with her second one also seeing her take Reserve Best Puppy in Show.

As she matured Amy really came into her own as a show bitch with an enviable record of 11 consecutive open show Best of Breeds, as a Junior / Yearling bitch, 3 of which saw her also awarded Reserve Best in Show. This performance was matched at Championship show level where Amy had a steady stream of class wins, including first in a huge Special Yearling class at Crufts (2002) under well known judge Albert Wight.

Amy's first CC came in April 2003 at WELKS under Breed Specialist Felix Cosme where she also took Best of Breed.

Her second and third CCs followed quickly afterwards awarded by Joyce Collis at Three Counties Agric. Society show and by Wendy Bobbett at South Wales K. A. show.

Thank you Wendy – this will always be a very special award to us; especially as you are now sadly no longer with us. The Dog world is a poorer place without you.

Although lightly shown thereafter due to maternal duties, Amy still managed to win a further 3 CCs, from Vic Salt, Pam Etheredge and Maggie Holliday.

Amy is now retired as a show bitch, but thank you to all the Judges, who made her so successful throughout her career. Amy has also had success as a brood bitch and is now the dam and grand dam of Champions both here in the UK and also in Europe.
